Degree Marks That Survive the Asian Session
Why weekly-to-hourly nesting matters when Hong Kong opens against overnight moves from New York and London.
Hong Kong desks inherit overnight structure. Annotating the hourly chart in isolation often invents a new impulse that contradicts the daily degree already in progress.
Our Multi-Timeframe Intensive opens every Saturday with a silent weekly mark-up. Only after the room agrees on the larger degree do we open the daily and hourly sheets.
Use consistent markers: Roman numerals for primary degree, letters for intermediate, Arabic for minor. Mixing marker systems mid-session is how nested counts collapse under pressure.
If the overnight gap pierces an invalidation level you drew the previous afternoon, treat that as information, not embarrassment. Update the alternate count before the morning clinic critique begins.
