A teaching room built for careful wave counts
Cortex Helix Field Academy Limited opened in 2014 to give Hong Kong chart readers a quiet place to practise Elliott wave annotation with shared critique rather than solitary guesswork.
Registered name & origin
The official registered business name is Cortex Helix Field Academy Limited, established in 2014. Early sessions began as evening desk circles above Central, when a handful of equity and FX readers compared handwritten counts after the Hong Kong close.
By 2017 the circle had formalised into booked annotation clinics at IFC Mall, 8 Finance St, with printed worksheets, degree markers, and a standing rule: no victory narratives about personal P&L during critique.
Working approach
We teach structure language — impulse, correction, alternation, invalidation — and we keep forecasts out of the room. Instructors markup participant sheets in person, then issue a post-clinic PDF of the reference count the group reconciled.
People
Sessions are led by senior annotators who have spent years marking Asian-session charts. Assistants circulate during labs to keep degree markers consistent across tables. Every instructor is expected to show their own alternate count when a room disagrees.
